An example of this approach is the work carried out by our Engineering team on the industrial master plan for Estirpe Negra, a company within the Argal Group, for its Iberian ham and cured meat production facility in Fregenal de la Sierra (Badajoz, Spain). The project enabled the structured planning of the plant’s future growth through an initial Alternatives Study, in which production capacity, material and personnel flows, sanitary requirements, and urban planning constraints were analyzed to identify the most suitable development strategy.
Based on the selected alternative, we developed the General Project Definition, detailing the functional design, facility layout, implementation planning, and investment estimates for the first phase. The result was a technical and economic roadmap for increasing production capacity, reorganizing production areas, improving operational flows, and preparing the plant for scalable, coherent growth aligned with the client’s industrial strategy.
In this way, the industrial master plan bridges the gap between business strategy and the plant’s technical reality.
