ADER will fund R&D&I projects with €4M in La Rioja
The Economic Development Agency of La Rioja (ADER) has published the 2021 call for applications for its aid programme to promote market-oriented R&D&I projects. ADER will thus mobilise 4 million euros in the form of subsidies for companies, organisations – public or private – that provide services to companies and business groups located in the Autonomous Community of La Rioja.
The deadline for submitting applications for individual or consortium projects is 10 December 2021. However, the application for aid must be submitted before the start of the subsidised project or activity.
Furthermore, the minimum eligible investment must be €20,000 per project, which may include the costs derived from the development of the R&D&I project itself (personnel, materials and equipment, external collaborations, subcontracting or new assets), as well as the contracting of research and technical personnel.
This line of aid is part of the Strategic Subsidies Plan (PES) 2021 of the Government of La Rioja with more than 74 million euros, positioning itself as the most important business promotion tool that the Government of La Rioja makes available to companies, SMEs and the self-employed with the aim of boosting economic recovery and job creation in the region.
This Strategic Grants Plan aims to contribute to the industrialisation of La Rioja, with a special focus on Internationalisation Programmes (1.73M€), Innovation (11.56M€), Reindustrialisation (12.33M€), Entrepreneurship (2.01M€), Consolidation of the Self-Employed (1.40M€) and Revitalisation of Trade (950,000€). Programmes to which should be added the Emergency Plan launched in February 2021 and endowed with €12M, as well as the funds from the Royal Decree of June 2021 of the Spanish Government, through which €32.5M have been channelled.
