Acronym: CORK2WINE
Objective: general objective to apply a new comprehensive approach to cork research, in order to generate knowledge that allows the advancement and overcoming of the current technological challenges of the national cork sector, from the stages of primary production in the forestry field until its subsequent processing for its preparation and subsequent manufacture of wine stoppers, as well as the optimal and profitable use of its by-products and waste, thus guaranteeing the competitiveness of the sector, its sustainability, international positioning and future viability.
