IGW BERLIN 2024

Grüne Woche is one of the most traditional and well-known events in Germany. Founded in 1926 in Berlin, it is one of the leading international trade fairs for food, agriculture and horticulture. During the ten-day event, exhibitors from all over the world present a wide range of products.  In addition, Grüne Woche provides a topical stage for addressing topics of interest such as climate protection, the circular economy, resource conservation and sustainable land use.

OLIVE OIL FAIR

This is the meeting for professionals in the olive oil sector. The Extra Virgin Quality Olive Oil Fair of Les Borges Blanques has closed its 27th edition with more than satisfactory figures and hundreds of visitors to its two exhibition pavilions.

It should be noted that the Oil Fair has opened for the first time to oil producers of all varieties and geographical areas of the country with the intention of becoming the Oil Fair of reference in Catalonia, reaching 39 exhibitors, some of them coming from outside Lleida.

 

MILLÈSIME BIO 2024

Water, the defense of genetic heritage, millenary fermentations, new green roads, the reinterpretation of gastronomic heritages, wild cuisine, the new Nikkei cuisine, the evolution of acid cuisine or the irruption of artificial intelligence in the kitchen will be some of the topics to be addressed this year by Madrid Fusion Foods from Spain, which will also pay tribute to the masters of the knife, taking advantage of the six hundredth anniversary of the Cisoria Art.

 

FOODRUS, Reducing food waste

On January 31 and February 1, 2024, this event will take place in Cordovilla, Navarra, aimed at all the agents that make up the food value chain.

This meeting is part of the European project FoodRUs of the Horizon2020 call, which aims to create resilient local food systems in Europe by developing various circular solutions and testing them in 3 pilots (Spain, Denmark and Slovakia) to reduce food losses and waste.

Its main objectives include: to present European and national regulations and strategies for the prevention of food losses and food waste and to raise awareness of the challenges of compliance for actors and clusters in the food value chain.

 

SALÓN DE INNOVACIÓN EN HOSTELERÍA
