Collaboration agreement between IDEA and artica+i to boost activity in the agri-food sector.
Last February took place the signing of the collaboration agreement between artica+i and IDEA, two Spanish companies in the field of engineering, consultancy and innovation, whose main objective is to promote the activity of both companies in the broad agri-food sector.
With this agreement, IDEA and artica+i, complementary companies in their respective activities, join forces to strengthen and boost their presence at national level and provide greater added value to their clients’ projects.
artica+i, has been specialising for more than 25 years in engineering and consultancy in the food and high sanitary standard (A&AES) sectors, as well as in the renewable energy sector. For its part, IDEA offers, from its engineering service, the development of multidisciplinary projects in the industrial sector, undertaking the engineering and digital technology associated with these projects.
The main lines of collaboration covered by the agreement are:
- Integral projects for new industry or expansion/reform of these in the A&AES sector.
- Renewable energy projects (EERR) initially focused on photovoltaics.
- Integral innovation management services (investment and innovation grants and subsidies).
- Digital twins for modelling and application to Industry 4.0 in the A&AES sector.
On the occasion of the signing of this new alliance, Emilio Sánchez Escámez, CEO and founder of IDEA Ingeniería, assessed the relevance of the agreement as follows: “I am convinced that this alliance will be very positive for all of us. Finally, Fernando Galdón Corbella, CEO and founder of artica+i, highlighted that “this alliance aims to promote high-value services for the competitive improvement of companies in the Food Chain, through digitalisation and flexible solutions for energy and environmental efficiency. The projects will be largely driven by channelling Next Generation funds from the European Union to assist partner countries in the post-Covid recovery. IDEA and artica+i have complementary knowledge and experience in these fields that generate synergies in both companies, provide differential value to our clients, and, in addition, we share ethical and sustainability principles that are a guarantee of success”.
