We unveil how European funds can contribute to the digitisation of the refrigeration sector at C&R

In a climate context of deep concern that puts the focus on a more sustainable energy consumption and with renewable energies as protagonists, IFEMA Madrid hosts the International Air Conditioning and Refrigeration Exhibition (C&R).

The event, which kicked off on 16 November with the inauguration of José Manuel Prieto, deputy director general for Industrial Quality and Safety of the Ministry of Industry, has brought together more than 300 participating companies over 47,000 m2 of exhibition space.

C&R has thus become the international event for the Air Conditioning, Heating, Plumbing, Ventilation, Industrial and Commercial Refrigeration sectors. A benchmark event in Spain that offers the ideal professional space to learn first-hand about technological innovations in the sector and build solid business relationships, as well as strategic agreements for the distribution of products and services.

All this, reinforced with an interesting parallel programme of congresses, seminars and events that are a valuable source of information about the trends, challenges and evolution of the sector.

Within this framework, our artica+i Business Development Director, Fernando Boned, participated in the round table “Disruptive technologies and their introduction in the refrigeration sector” coordinated by AEFYT with the collaboration of AFAR, ATECYR and CONAIF.

During his speech, Fernando focused on the opportunities and major challenges facing the refrigeration and air conditioning sector. In addition, he addressed how the financing mechanisms generated through the PERTE of the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan can contribute directly and positively to address the digitalisation of the refrigeration industry.
