Food innovation will meet at ALIBETOPIAS 2023
Once again, we are sponsoring ALIBETOPIAS, the event that has already become the benchmark for food innovation. The meeting, organized by FIAB, will take place on October 26 in Madrid and will host, as in previous editions, the Ingenia Startup and ECOTROPHELIA Spain 2023 Awards.
Under the slogan “Food systems: digital, healthy and sustainable”, the food and beverage sector will meet in Madrid, once again, in the event that has already established itself as a benchmark for food innovation: ALIBETOPÍAS 2023. The event, which will take place on October 26 at Espacio Alcalá, will bring together industry professionals, as well as renowned members of the scientific community.
Organized by the Spanish Federation of Food and Beverage Industries (FIAB), with the support of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) and the Food forLife-Spain Technology Platform (PTF4LS), the ninth edition of ALIBETOPÍAS 2023 will also have our support as sponsors of the meeting.
The moderation and presentation of the event will be in charge of Fernando Martínez, director of Alimentaria magazine, who will put special focus on the importance of digitization and sustainability of the agri-food industry.
In addition, ALIBETOPÍAS 2023 will be, once again, the ideal framework for the presentation of the Ingenia Startup 2023 and ECOTROPHELIA Spain 2023 Awards.
Ingenia Startup Awards 2023
The Ingenia Startup Awards are a recognition of innovation and business entrepreneurship. Its objective is to give visibility to agri-food startups whose scope of action is the value chain of the agri-food sector and that have a great impact on any of the following topics: product, process, consumer, food safety, sustainability, digitization or packaging.
During the celebration of ALIBETOPÍAS 2023, the winners of this Award will be unveiled, which is given in three categories: gold, silver and bronze.
During the last edition, the Ingenia Startup 2022 Award recognized as winner the company DEEP DETECTION, followed by the initiatives OSCILIUM and INNOMY BIOTECH.
ECOTROPHELIA Spain 2023 Awards
FIAB organizes the Ecotrophelia Spain Awards as a sign of its commitment to the promotion of talent and the training of young people, as well as its firm commitment to innovation and the development of new products that are in line with new industry trends.
Mugcake, a mix to prepare a sponge cake based on carob flour in a cup that only needs a vegetable drink and a microwave, prepared by a group of students from the Autonomous University of Barcelona, has been the winning product of the Ecotrophelia Spain 2023 Awards.
The jury of this fourteenth edition was chaired by Toni Massanés, director of the Alicia Foundation, and formed by representatives of the sector and the Administration; José Miguel Herrero, general director of Food Industry of the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food; Mauricio García de Quevedo, general manager of FIAB; Vanesa Martínez, president and general manager of the Carinsa Group; Jaume Lluis Tartera, director of Science and Technology of analysis methods and control systems and laboratories of Mahou San Miguel; Xavier Bordonaba, director of the Quality and R&D department of Delafruit S. L.U.; Joaquín del Río, director of Innovation and Quality at Vicky Foods; Susana Martínez, head of Management and Innovation at Aldelis; and Cristina Pérez, innovation manager at Calidad Pascual.
Exhibition area
The event will have an important exhibition area where more than twenty brands of the food industry will be present. Relevant entities such as Siemens, Pascual, Grupo Carinsa, Inlac or Bodegas Familiares Matarromera.
As in previous editions, we will be present at ALIBETOPÍAS 2023 as exhibitors to bring our Innovation and Digitalization Consulting services to professionals in the sector.
