FAIIP will promote industrial investments valued at 600M€.
The Productive Industrial Investment Support Fund (FAIIP), under the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Tourism and managed by Sepides, has a budget of 600M€ for the year 2021, whose objective is to stimulate industrial development, strengthen competitiveness and maintain national industrial capacities.
Thanks to this fund, which is configured as the evolution of the Ministry of Industry’s REINDUS programme, the FAIIP will finance private commercial companies and cooperatives that develop or will develop a productive industrial activity and industrial services, regardless of their size, through aid in the form of ordinary loans, equity loans, temporary and minority capital participation, or mixed formulas between the above.
The 2021 call for proposals will include projects related to the creation and/or relocation of industrial establishments, as well as improvements and/or modifications to production lines and processes, with a special focus on the productive implementation of Connected Industry 4.0 technologies and strategies aimed at environmental sustainability.
The maximum funding intensity to be received by the beneficiary companies will be 75% of the total eligible project, with a minimum amount of €200,000 and a maximum of €60M.
Eligible projects in 2021 must be developed in the national territory, being eligible for funding, both investments that have been executed since 1 July 2020, as well as those that are executed up to 2 years after the date of formalisation of the funding.
