Key events in the agri-food sector in June
The digital transformation of companies and administrations, the promotion of organic production and the development of functional ingredients are some of the main themes and common challenges that will bring together professionals from the agri-food sector at some of the essential trade fairs, congresses and symposiums during the month of June.
II ECOWINE SYMPOSIUM
On 1, 2 and 3 June 2022, the second Ecowine symposium will be held in Laguardia, organised by NEIKER (Basque Institute for Agricultural Research and Development), in collaboration with the Spanish Society for Organic Agriculture (SEAE) and the Basque Council for Organic Agriculture and Food to bring together professionals, researchers, technicians and students related to organic vineyards and wine.
The aim of this symposium is to share and discuss technical advances in organic vine cultivation and its role as a mitigator of climate change as a carbon sink, to bring the importance of ecosystem services closer to the sector, to link organic production with wine quality, local development and culture, and finally, to bring the production sector closer to and orientate it towards organic production.

SALIMAT ABANCA 2022, Atlantic Food Exhibition
From 2 to 5 June, the food and gastronomy sector will meet at the 25th edition of Salimat Abanca to present the keys to achieving effective interaction between supply and demand in the sector. Its exhibition area thus forms an interesting showcase that combines the presence of large-scale distribution with that of quality, artisan, gourmet, organic and innovative product companies.

ORGANIC FOOD IBERIA & ECO LIVING IBERIA
The third edition of Organic Food & Eco Living Iberia, the trade fair for the organic sector, is being held this year with more exhibition space – 25% more than last year – and a very good attendance forecast of around 7,000 professionals.
On this occasion, the fair is strengthening its internationalisation with a focus on America, because Organic Food Iberia is the natural bridge between Europe and American developments, models and complementary times.

VINIS TERRAE, Galician Quality Wine and Spirits Fair
The 9th edition of the Salón del Vino y Licores Gallegos de Calidad will take place on 14 and 15 June at the Expourense Exhibition Centre. On this occasion, the event will be hybrid in order to facilitate the attendance in person and online to the visitors of this event which aims to position the wineries and producers of spirits and liqueurs belonging to the different designations of origin of Galicia in the Spanish and international market.

DIGITAL ENTERPRISE SHOW 2022
The Palacio de Ferias y Congresos de Málaga (FYCMA) opens its doors on 14, 15 and 16 June 2022 to host the Digital Enterprise Show 2022 (DES). This event is already considered one of the most important events on digital transformation in southern Europe.
In its sixth edition, under the slogan “Reimagine Business”, DES Malaga 2022 aims to boost the digitisation of companies and administrations to increase their competitiveness and boost economic and social development.
In this way, the fair is expected to bring together more than 12,000 attendees and will count with the participation of different representatives of giants of the sector such as MIT, IBM or KMPG.

The Barcelona International Convention Centre (CCIB) will host Nutraceuticals Europe – Summit & Expo 2022, the leading international trade fair and congress in southern Europe in the field of functional ingredients, novel foods and end products.
It is a professional meeting for producers, distributors and their customers, which in its last edition, held in 2020, brought together 120 brands and 2,000 professional visitors.
